The Mission of the Libraries of Stevens County Foundation

A strong public library is the very foundation upon which a community builds for the future. The Mission of the Libraries of Stevens County Foundation is to supplement public funding, to ensure that our libraries serve as indispensable information resources with free, convenient, and dynamic facilities and services. 

The Foundation achieves its purpose by:

  • Acting as a catalyst for charitable giving to the Libraries of Stevens County

  • Effectively stewarding the assets entrusted by donors to the Libraries of Stevens County for the benefit of the community

  • Fostering lasting relationships earned by the Libraries of Stevens County through exceptional service

  • Amplifying the voice of the Libraries of Stevens County to the community by engaging a broad network of community support, including donors and volunteers

The Libraries of Stevens County Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. All gifts to the Foundation, whether outright or deferred, are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.
